yeah i play tennis everyday of the summer, and i teach it. my best tip is to ice it, and not move it in an uncomfortable place. i might even recommend a splint [[like a collar bone splint]]. this might hurt at first, but you’ll get used to it, and eventually it will heal.

GO to the orthopedic guy- he will probably go through physical therapy before any surgery. You need to see an orthopedic guy right awy because if you don’t it’s only going to get worse. In the mean time ICE IT! or heat pad for 20 mins. then ice for 30 mins. and switch back and forth

I had this…….the surgery was for me a piece of cake and the healing was fast. I am a now retired Meatcutter. I would suggest he go now to the Orthopedic and get the surgery now so he gives himself enough time to heal before returning to work. Use the time wisely. Also, I asked for a little more anestesia as this deadened the elbow from the surgery for nearly 3 days before I had any pain. THIS REQUIRED a GOOD Anthesiaologist, which my 2nd Ortho Doc had. I had 2 surgeries Carpul Tunnel and Tennis Elbow both by the 2nd Ortho Doc. I will never return to the Shoulder Doctor…..he thought pain was good for you……crap on that….The Carpal took nearly a year to completely heal, and I still have to be careful when doing some things or I get pains in the wrist. The elbow surgery was the easiest of all the surgeries I have had. (Carpal Tunnel, Tennis Elbow, Arthoscopic Shoulder Surgery torn rotator cup, Complete Hysterectomy, Bilateral Inguinal Hernias that is one on each side, and a C-Sect. Thru the years as a meatcutter, the physically charged work took its toll on this gal. But I’m fixed up now.
