How do you help make tennis elbow better?

I’ve been struggling with tennis elbow for quite some time now, and I am starting to get desperate to make it better or go away completely.

As of right now, I not able to exercise, and it hurts pretty bad when I’m just doing ordinary stuff daily…

I would really appreciate some help.

    Stop what you are doing to aggravate it, see your doctor so you can start physical therapy, pending on your age it can last from three months to six months before it heals.

    Give Tennis (or whatever your were doing to cause the pain) a rest for two weeks. You’ll feel loads better.

    -Rest and avoid any activity that causes pain to the sore elbow.
    -Apply ice to the affected area.
    -Take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen.
    -Cortisone-type medication may be injected into the sore area.

    to try and heal it; This step begins a couple of weeks after pain has been reduced or eliminated. It involves specific physical-therapy exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles and tendons around the injured elbow. Any activity that aggravates the pain must be avoided.

    to Decrease Stress and Abuse on the Injury;
    To help lesson the continued stress and abuse on and injury:
    Use the proper equipment and technique in sports and on the job.
    Use of a counter-force brace, an elastic band that wraps around the forearm just below the injured elbow (tendon) may help to relieve pain in some people.

    My mom has this problem. She goes to physical therapy. They do all kinds of exercises. One is with this clay type stuff that you roll back and forth on the table. Another is taking the opposite hand and flexing and unflexing the arm that has the problem by push on the back of your fingertips and slightly pushing those fingertips back. Also she got a brace which didn’t help a lot so she got this almost ace bandage type thing that they measured for her arm. Another option is a shot they give you in your arm; you can only do that twice.

    Ice it.
    It always works for me….put a ice compress thingie on it for 15 minutes, even if it "burns", trust me.
