what are some key aspects and good grips for a tennis serve? what exercises can i do to improve it?

Most people use a continental grip on all of their serves. The only way to improve it is to practice it with right formation. Power from the serve comes from the wrist snap. You have to be really loose and relaxed in order to make a good and fast serve. Use your whole body and bend your knees before exploding to hit a serve.
there are so many things to discuss about the serve… but since you’re asking only about the grip, then here it goes…
with regards to grip, to each his own, as long as you can pronate or snap your wrist upon impact… experiment with the diffirent kinds of grip, find one thats comfortable for you and then practice..
focus on that first…
but since you have a follow up question… power and control is achieved by coordination of different body parts, the ankles, knees, hips, shoulder, elbow and then wrist…its like a synergy effect…
but stay with the basic first…
