Tennis training exercises?
Are there any training exercises to practice playing tennis. Please tell!!!!

The best way to practice tennis is to just hit the ball with a partner. But you can work on certain shots such as approach shots, volleys, overheads, slices and other shots with a coach.
My favorite drill is to hit side to side. In this exercise a coach feeds to one side and you have to hit the ball go back to the middle and then the coach feeds to the other side. It is a good workout and helps your endurance alot.
Go to the USTA site and there are links there to Player Development. You will see a bunch there – mostly physical exercises, but also drills. You can practice against the wall (best partner you will ever have) or rent a ball machine. Certainly, a lesson with a coach would not hurt.
