How to strengthen ligamints in the elbow for throwing?

Is there way to strengthen up ligamints in the elbow for throwing? Everytime I play dodgeball or do pitching, my elbow hurts after. I am sure there must be away to strength it up. Any one know any exercises?

  1. Arm isolation exercises like the bicep curl and tricep pushdown strenghten the elbow ligaments and arm muscles-i would also train shoulders as they play a bigger part in throwing exercises..

    While sitting at home take a gallon jug fill it with water and do curls. Its not to much weight and will build the strength you need to keep your elbow as well as your bicep in shape also try Asper cream it doesnt smell or give you that burning feel you get from icey hot or ben gay.
