Gym Exercises While Tennis Elbow

Can anyone please tell me if there are some good gym exercises while tennis elbow? Also, what exercises are good to do in the gym that can help my tennis game, get me more fit, and agile on the court?

How often should I do this?

In tennis its less about Torso and more of legs and arms. So i say tread climber, and weight lifts. arms give the power and legs gives the balance.

You want to mostly do cardio. Run on the track, run uphill on the treadmill, use the stationary bike. Look at the women tennis players – they don’t need muscle to hit the ball hard.

If you’re playing tennis frequently then you aren’t going to be able to get into a tough weight training regimen because you’ll be too sore to play. Just use dumbbells and go through all the motions (shoulders, triceps, biceps…). Do a light bench press (don’t strain yourself too hard or you won’t be able to pick up the racquet. Do light squats – again, it should be light since your legs are going to be tired from all the running. The idea is muscle maintenance and strengthening, not muscle building. All of the weights should be light enough so that you don’t get sore and you can do these workouts almost every day to keep your muscles warmed up. Believe it or not, Nadal doesn’t even use weights, he just uses resistance wires to keep his muscle definition maintained. The reason he has such a big left arm is because he spends all day hitting tennis balls.
