lower bicep hurts a little while pitching and elbow is sore after pitching. what does that mean?

    It means that you are not pitching correctly. You are relying on your arm to do most of the work and not your core body. This sort of injury is becoming more common in young pitchers. You should make sure your coach is aware of your sore arm. He should be able to give you some tips on preventing this. This website has some real good info about these sort of injuries. Take preventative measures before you require surgery to repair that arm!

    You might be developing tendonitis. ICE your entire elbow, but more importantly, warm up before you practice, and STRETCH your whole arm after every practice. EVERY practice, every time, no exceptions. Then ice ice ice until it stops hurting. Ice for about 15 minutes after you finish stretching. Or at least that evening.

    Getting massage therapy would be a good idea, too. Look for a therapist who specializes in sports massage.

    After a long and difficult thought process and speaking to some of the top scientists in the world, I have come to the conclusion that your arm might be sore because you are working out, and using it, a lot.
