Why does my elbow hurt every time I throw?
I play baseball, as a pitcher and whenever I throw my elbow hurts a little bit. I am able to pitch, but by the 2nd or 3rd inning my arm is dying. Its like all the energy is leeched out of my elbow. It did the same thing last year, and I did not play baseball for an entire year, but when I got right back to playing it immediatly hurt. I went to the docter but they said nothing apparent was wrong with it. How can this be if I can feel it and it’s affecting my game. What is wrong with it?

You might be throwing the ball an odd way or you could be pitching to many curve balls or other pitches that you flick your wrist with. if not you may have thrown too many balls and now are experiencing pain. Just take a break from pitching and maybe try first base. If that doesn’t work you might have to consult a doctor again. You may also need surgery if it became severe and you threw to many pitches that involve flicking of the wrist or just plain to many pitches. You need to act soon though or else you may not be able to pitch or throw good any more.
Maybe you hurt the elbow cap(?). You also could have hurt like a vain or something
Your probably short arming your throw, trying to get the most velocity. Make sure your arm is straight when you throw. My friend had the exact same problem now he last a 7 innings.
Your mechanics must be wrong somewhere, have someone who knows Baseball watch you throw.
