How do i get in shape for tennis?

I absolutely love to play tennis and im really good at it. I know i need to lose weight if i want to get better. does anyone have any suggestions for diet/exercises?

    if you need to lose a little weight, its not that big of a deal. you can to sit-ups, push-ups. go walking or bike riding.

    i do tennis too. but i think the two best ways to get in shape are jump roping and running. if you have a treadmill (or access to a gym) start off slow at like maybe 6 speed and see how long you can go. you might think going faster will burn off more calories. but the longer you can stay on the more calories you will burn. (ive been building up and can now run 5 miles at 6 speed). jumping rope is simple and keeps u really agile- perfect 4 tennis. you can do it anywhere. and its a great way to warm up and get ur feet moving b4 a match.

    and concerncing your diet- its really simple. instead of eating chips as a 3:00 snack grab celery and carrots. after dinner, ditch the ice cream and eat an apple or fruit salad b4 bed. note- reducing the intake of calories does not help u lose weight. ur body justs adjusts to burn less. you need to eat healthier not less

    you can run, do crutches, and push ups. And when your hungry, eat healthy, and don’t starve yourself!
