How to remove tea stains from delicate china cups?

Didn’t wash the tea cups right away and the tea stains appear to have set in. They are very delicate, fragile (and expensive) china. Not sure if it would be appropriate to use abrasive cleaners (or a lot of elbow grease). Any advice? Thanks…

Try making a paste of Baking Soda and water, then gently rub this should remove the stains.

If bleach doesn’t work, try use Barkeeper’s Friend cleaner. It can be found at most grocery stores. It is a very mild cleaner and polisher. Just sprinkle a small amount on a dampened washcloth and lightly rub on the stain. You will find that this will remove stains that other abrasive cleaners will not remove. You will find many uses for this cleaner.
