Why does the inside of my elbow hurt after 2 or 3 innings?

I noticed this towards the end of my high school season and wondered if it was just over use. I don’t throw curveballs where you snap your wrist, only spin pitches.

First of all you need to throw more often to condition your arm, most pitchers throw/pitch all out on game day. Well, that is great if you want to keep going to the doctor. Your arm wants to throw, but you can’t just throw at 100 percent on game day, you have to throw often and build up your rear shoulders to help stabilize your whole arm. Then work heavy duty on your core. When your shoulders and core are like rocks, you will throw harder and have less fatigue when you pitch. Start Long tossing 3 times a week when your arm stops hurting, then gradually build up. Long toss for as long and far as you can. Throw on the football field. Your arm will become stronger and your arm will feel good. To warm up, run 100 meter wind sprints until you are dripping of sweat. When this happens, you are ready to start throwing. But, what do I know? I can only throw the length of a football field with out any strain on my arm. Many people will tell you that you need to stretch more, or do something else. Just throw the ball!
