How can she prepare for middle school tennis team?

my daughter starts school next week and is signing up for the tennis team. She has practiced it on ocassion in PE in previous years. What basic exercises will help her prepare for the qualification process? She has less than a week. I told her to start jogging now, but what else? Thanks 🙂

    all you can do is keep practicing. if she knows anyone that was on the team last year she should try to play with them. i think that she should do some suicide runes. you stand on the side of the court and stand on the out most line of the ally. run to the other side of the same ally, which is two steps. run back to the line that you began on. then run to the line that separates the service box’s, then run back to the line you began on. then run to the inner most line of the other ally, then run back to the line you began on. Finlay run to the outer most line on the other ally and then run back to the ally that you began on. i think that she should do three or four. she should also jump rope, that should help her with her foot work since you are basically jumping for your foot work. you should also be jogging to build your endurance. see if she can do a mile or so. i hope that this helps and i hope that she makes the tennis team.

    well, there’s not much u can do in a week. i mean there won’t be big improvements in only a week, it’s too short.
    well the best thing she could do is hit the courts as often as she can with a hitting partner and play rallies which will improve her endurance and teach her to keep the ball in play.
