I need some exercises that will make me pretty strong in 3 weeks any good ones i can do everyday?

im going to bootcamp for college tennis and im super nervous! we have a huge pt things we have to past the first day and i need my legs and arms to be super strong. i was wondering if anyone had any great exercises that can help me get stronger in these next three weeks before camp.

    Hi there. I first would suggest trying some good old push ups as well as doing some plyometric training. Plyometrics is jump training and every athlete should do it, it helps with performance all around. You would get into a squat position about hip width apart, squat down and as you come up you jump up, land soft and do again. Try to do it for 30 seconds or 10 reps at a time.     Congrats on being a collegiate athlete! It’s an amazing experience. Wow, i’m getting nostalgic…

    You can get stronger and faster by lifting using explosive movements. Front squats to a over-head push press, sandbag tosses with a kettlebell, hang cleans. They will all help you with your leg and core strength. By putting the "explosion" in the movement, you will significantly increase your power. Pushups (there are like 100 different types) will also help with your fitness level. Work your core/abs. It’s amazing how much easier all workouts are when you have a strong core!

    Running!!! Practice interval running. Sprints, jogs…over and over. Condition yourself to build endurance as well as integrate bursts of quick movements.

    Plyometrics and Jumping. Vertical jumps, standing broad jumps, split squat jumps, burpees…These will all help you out!

    Check out the Crossfit stuff. This is perfect for building functional strength. There are great instructional videos on this site too:


    Just relax. You’ll get through it! Train hard. Eat right. Ice when you’re sore and drink a lot of water. Good luck!
