What is the best muscle to work on during tennis?

I play tennis for my high school and I want to be in the best shape I can before the season starts. What muscle/exercise should I do to increase my game.

    All power comes from the ground up. So exercise and build up the legs. Stability, acceleration, quickness, all use the legs and are very important in tennis. Do jump squats, jump over cones for quickness and speed. If you can’t get to the ball well you can’t hit it well.

    Your brain. Hand eye co-ordination and timing is the most important attribute you can have in tennis.

    nothing beats the brain…if you want to be the best you gotta watch your competitors and study them. then notice where their weak points are (unless ur competitor is Fedex)

    after that train your endurance, i dont think mucular strength is that essential as it provides you with only one game plan-big serve and big forehand which is limited and easily broken apart

    I would say the legs. The ability to run in short sprints is very important. Also, you need to work on endurance so you don’t tire easily.
