Is it alright for your body to play tennis every day?

I understand that you can over-exercise, but I love tennis and like playing every single day for a couple hours. I’m going to do a clinic for four hours five days a week, but I doubt it’ll be super intense, with half hour to one and a half hour lessons pretty much every day, and then other classes I can go to. If I eat well, sleep well, and take naps and breaks throughout the day, is that okay? I’m also 15, and healthy, if that makes how much activity I can stand any different.

depends on the duration of how long u are playing… i’d say no more then 2 hours daily everyday.. thats all. and u have to strecth out well.. and eat lots of protein.. and rest well..

if its too much for u.. do it everyother day…

Yeah should be fine. Unless you start having pain in your elbow or shoulder. Then that means your playing to much.

    But sounds fine to me

take a rest…the repetition of the same stroke damages parts of your body. it needs to recover

I wish I could meet a women who plays tennis, no women seem to play tennis where I live. ANyway, I wouldnt play every day of every week for the long term as it may affect you’re body, especially your knees from your feet pounding against the ground (depending on what pace you play at). I think ideally you should play every other day and have a day of rest in between. Have fun hun!

Yes, it’s okay. But be aware of your fitness! Eveything depends on it! If you are physically fit, you can play everyday, but if your not really that fit, you should consider a rest day every other day of tennis.
