You’re not going to like me! One of the main remedies for tennis elbow is rest. Without rest, you’re just going to make it chronic. I suggest you see your GP and ask to be referred to a Physiotherapist. They can use many techniques to treat tennis elbow such as ultrasound (a form of electrotherapy, not painful at all), friction massage, stretches and strengthening exercises. It really sounds like you need to be signed off work for a couple of weeks to rest and when you go back, talk to your manager about the work as going back to it will flare it up again. Maybe together you can figure something out, maybe sharing out the opening bottles, but it sounds like anybody doing that job is at risk, so it is up to your manager to reduce that risk. They can’t really sack you for developing an injury as a result of your job!
