How Long Does Tennis Elbow Last?

Can Tennis Elbow Last For Months?

Any ideas to help the healing process? I use my arms daily at work and the pain is “a pain”…

General doctor said wear the arm band, and called it Tennis elbow. I don’t know if I should go see a orthopedic doc or not. It seems to hurt worse right when I wake up?

Are you sure it is Tennis elbow, and not Ulnar nerve damage.

I have tennis elbow from lifting a heavy dumbbell without proper form for a few seconds. Only problem is, for those few seconds, it caused months of tennis elbow.
I’ve since "cooled it" a bit with the heavy lifting for that arm, but it pisses me off because it flares up even when I attempt to incorporate push ups and hand stands with it.
    Proper form is always king.
My advice would be to get connected with an orthopedic physician/sports medicine doctor. Otherwise, you can ice it. That’s what I do.
    Good luck.

Get one of the velcro arm bands especially for tennis elbow. These work fast and can wear to work. They are easy to put on by yourself. Is a band that fastens around your forearm just below your elbow. Mine didn’t last long wearing this. But, I went right away. Got mine from a Chiropractor. Are cheap.

I was in pain for months before I went to the doctors. It was so bad it kept me awake at night crying. I can tell you what helpes everyday and i wouldn’t do without it now but I can not tell you how long the pain last or how to cure it.
The doc. told me to get this thing that wraps around my arm right under the elbow area. Not sure of correct name but it is an elbow wrap for tennis or golfers elbow. ask at any pharmacy and they will help you .
