I have the same problem, except i work in the medical field and will not get a cortisone injection, because they are extremely painful and I’m not into that!!!! I have an aircast and exercises they gave me, it has helped but i still have some sort of pain everyday. I am considering going to a hand specialist ( they also handle elbows) GOOD LUCK. Most of the time cortisone is only short term anyway, I have heard of very few people that cortisone has really helped
It should have stopped right after he gave you the shot.Maybe you have tendenitis.
I have tennis elbow and I never got a shot for it but I had some therapy that I had to do at home. If you are careful and follow what you are told by the doctor you should be fine.
I’m a student and actually got it from writing too much. Take this cocktail of vitamins and in like 6 weeks you should notice and improvement (i know it seems like a long time, but that’s just the nature of the beast).
- MSM (1000 mg tablets)
- glucosamine sulfate (500mg) & chondroitin sulfate (400mg) - should be moxied in the same pill
- Flax (1000 mg)
- Devils claw
Take the cocktail around the same time once a day. Good luck!
