He has a lot of pain in his shoulders from years of his line of work. He has had a number of cortisone shots and they provided a little relief but not much. Cortisone shots does not help with the healing just reduce any swelling. He has since stopped taking the shot because they just don't work very well for his pain. I had a BAD experience with a cortisone shot last month. It was the first one I ever had in my life. Turns out I am allergic to steroids, not only did it NOT help with my pain one bit, I had horrible side effects. Good luck, I hope your arm starts feeling better soon!!
