I have been suffering from a tennis elbow for the past 12 mts. I play golf and it aggrevates it any cures pls?

I do not want to use pain killers to suppress the issue. I want a permanent cure, other than surgery, and steroids.

I myself suffered from ‘tennis elbow’ just over a year ago. The only CURE was to take it easy, avoid repetitive activities with the affected arm, and basically just babying the entire lower arm for 4 to 6 months. I did find some relief from a high end therapeutic arm band that’s designed to apply support pressure to the appropriate areas. I received the brace/band from my physical therapist. It is in no way similar to what you would find at your local department store or Wally-World. I just found my brace/strap and the label on it states the following for brand identification: "EpitPoint – Bauerfeind".

I’m with you on the non use of drugs to mask your pain and suffering. Drugs only hide the symptoms of your body telling you that there is something wrong and needs to be given attention and taken care of.

I hope you may find some comfort from my experience – take it very easy and give it a long while to heal.

Your tendons in your elbow are inflamed. Take a couple months off from any sport that you play when it hurts. It the cheapest and easiest way. Your body needs the time to heal itself.

With conventional western medicine….try a brace (Band-It) or occupational therapy. If that doesn’t work, well alternative medicine my suit you.

Sure if it hurts don’t use it but hard to imagine not playing golf for that long and you really can’t just stop using your affected arm.
