ice it. use a frozen cup and peel off the top to expose ice, and massage the painfull area, for about 10 minutes.
How about an elbow brace, acetaminophen, and rest? By playing tennis every day, you are repeatedly injuring yourself. Not smart.
Go see an Orthopedic surgeon for more advice before you lose all use of the elbow. I’ve had cortisone shots that last 6 months to a year. But you do need to rest a severely injured joint.
Hope this helps.
You need to stop playing tennis now. Depending upon how long you’ve had pain, you need a period of no activity to let the tendons heal. If you keep using your arm, even if the pain is only slight, you’ll progress from tendonitis to tendonosis. This will take much longer to heal and might even require surgery.
Take Ibuprofen and ice your elbow frequently. However long it takes for the pain to go away, wait about that much longer before you play tennis again. If the pain comes back again, you need to rest it longer. Good luck.
