Your arm hurts because you have not used it in a while I am guessing. Stretch before and after a game or pratice. When you get home ice it for about 10 minutes a night or try icy hot. Your arm is getting used to being used again it is normal don’t worry about it give it time and the pain should go away. I know what your going through I have the same thing wrong with my arms because I am a catcher. Now if the pain dosen’t go away then you should see your physican.

your arm isnt used to the particular motion. u havent thrown in a while (im guessing) and it has to re-adjust to throwing

    see a doctor/

Just stretch out your arm well before you throw or you’ll pull a muscle.

Your mechanics are probably off. I’ve just gotten back into baseball after a five-year break, and I’m throwing fine. I’m not left-handed, but still.

You should go to a sports rehab clinic. They can diagnose those issues pretty easily. If you haven’t throw consistently for the last 2 years, likely your rotator cuff and scapular area are quite weak. You may also have some flexibility issues in your shoulder/rotator/scap area that will need to be addressed.
