What’s the best way to ease tendonitis in the elbow? Or any other joint for that matter?

I exercise regularly, including martial arts. It’s been ongoing for a few months now, any suggestions would be great.

    Rest it. Do not overstrain it. If it is painful to pick something up or grip then use your other hand. Take Ibuprofen for the pain, and use an ice pack. Keep the ice pack on it for about 30 minutes. Do this every two or three hours a day. Also get one of those counterforce bands to wear about an inch below the elbow for support.
