Can anyone help me with my forearm problem?
I seem to always be aware of my right forearm, I have discomfort in it constantly throughout the day.. It is hard to describe, it is not a pain or soreness it feels like the muscle is being clenched so I think it might be tight… I went to physio for it and they did active release on my forearm and it just made the forearm feel sore, they told me to stretch it a lot but that does not help at all, sometimes it feels worse after stretching
i play tennis 8-10hrs a week at an intense level and am on the computer a lot but even if i rest for a couple days the forearm stays the same, it feels a bit better or a bit worse fluctuating from day to day
This is not tennis elbow or carpal tunnel syndrome, i feel this on my muscle and not near the elbow its about 2/3 up my arm (2/3 up arm starting from wrist and going to elbow)
Has anyone experienced this or know what it is? I would really appreciate any help
Xtra Info: When i sit at the computer my arm and elbow are at about an 80 degree angle, my physio said i should get it as close to 90 degrees but 80 is as close as i can get it with my sitting arrangements,
I have a private coach that I take lessons from every month who is extremely qualifed so it is not a technical problem from tennis…
My forearm is also very thick so I doubt i have this problem from a weak muscle..
No, I haven’t gone to the doctor about it, i get pain when i press on it but not on the outside of the muscle but on the inside middle part of it

It still sounds like it could be tendonitis. your forearm muscles attach both to the wrist and to the elbow. Have you actually gone to a doctor to confirm that it isn’t tennis elbow/tendonitis?
—-
Tennis elbow is an injury to the muscles and tendons on the outside (lateral aspect) of the elbow that results from overuse or repetitive stress. The narrowing of the muscle bellies of the forearm as they merge into the tendons create highly focused stress where they insert into the bone of the elbow.
———–
WRIST / FOREARM TENDONITIS
Tendonitis is an over use injury that can occur with over use of any muscle. The tendon is the tissue that attaches the muscle to the bone.
Common wrist/forearm problems include tendonitis of the muscles that extend your wrist, (bend wrist back). The technical name for this is lateral epicondylitis, also known as tennis elbow. You don’t have to play tennis to get tennis elbow. Working at the computer with your hand bent up toward you is a common cause of this type of tendonitis. It is often confused with carpal tunnel syndrome.
——-
Tennis Elbow / Wrist Extensor Tendonitis
Test for this syndrome by:
Pressing hard along the outside of the muscular part of the elbow. Pain is an indication of tendonitis.
Stretching the muscle.
If it feels tight this is an indication of tendonitis.
TREATMENT
Stretching for the extensor muscle.
it could just be something bent or a musle twist
