Sore knees, ankles, wrists and elbows AFTER pregnancy?
My baby is 6 weeks old and I have been having really sore joints. Especially when walking, going up and down stairs. Has anyone experienced these symptoms after pregnancy?

I have the same exact thing! My hips and ankles, mostly my joints are KILLING me and my doctor told me its because when you give birth your body naturally "lubes" up your joints with hormones so that when you push the baby out, your hips spread apart more easily to allow the baby to pass thru the birth canal. Unfortunately when it lubes up your hip joints, it does it to all so it takes a while before you get back to normal. Also she said I developed tendonitis inmy wrists (which KILLS!!) from the awkward ways ive been holding my son (my wrists arent used to bending that way) and also from lugging him around in his carrier. But it all sounds normal to me…I would suggest taking Calcium supps and also try an MSM - Glucosamine - Chondroitin combo vitamin to help your joints. You have to have all three in one (each plays a part in making the other work better). Good luck to you and I hope you feel better!
Yes, I had that with my first three and my back after having them with epidurals. Had my last one naturally, no pain whatsoever.
