		<description>I know this may sound off the wall, but you should be tested for diabetes.  Diabetes can cause problems in the extremities (doesn&#039;t have to be both arms or legs, it can be just one).  Hand and arm (upper extremity) complications include nerve damage and tissue damage from chronically elevated blood sugars.  Symptoms are tingling, pain and/or numbness in the fingers and hands. Eventually, there can be muscle weakness and loss.</description>
