How bad does a tattoo on the inner elbow hurt?
I have wanted a tattoo since I was young, but always wanted to wait for the right inspiration. Well, I’ve found my subject – but now I have to pick the location on my body. I love the way forearm and inner elbow tattoos look, especially the elbow. Is there anyone out there who’s had either of those locations tattooed who could give me some idea of how bad the pain is? For a first time tattoo (and maybe the last), I just don’t know if I should go all out and take the pain or play it safe….

of course its going to hurt for the first couple of minutes, especially if its your first time. Don’t mind the pain, its gone in a day but then the itching begins. THATs the fun part. If you have 2nd thoughts then your not ready to get it. Just wait and think it over, theres no rush!!!!!
I got my first tattoo on my foot. I’m sure the inner elbow is going to hurt, but the pain goes away. It’s worth it in the end. The only thing that sucks is the itching.
IDK I dont have a tattoo there but I did get my first on my foot and everyone told me how bad it was going to hurt and it didnt really hurt that bad so get it wherever you want. my other tattoos didnt hurt either( one on my back and one around my wrist) it was just a little annoying
It really doesn’t hurt much. Feels good actually like getting an itch scratched. The most hurt will come with the healing. It feels like a sunburn. So watch the lotions and when you bathe it’ll be a little ouchie nothing more than that. Itching will be the problem (that’s the worry, not the pain!) try not to scratch the ‘too when it begins to heal. The flaking will come and you know how itchy you get when the skin get’s flakey and peels off.
Actually you’ll enjoy it and get the know how your skin responds to this stimuli. You will enjoy it and not worry about the pain, the pain just isn’t really pain it’s more just an irritation basically.
I don’t know why most still worry about the pain, trust me on this one.
Everyone is different but its not so bad and well worth it. I have my right elbow done and Saturday I will do my left so if Im doin it again it cant be that bad. Some say its like a cat scratch BUT ITS NOT so dont worry LOL First few mins might be a little scarey but you get use to it and then it will start to numb up a bit. mine actually goes fully numb thats why Im 50% covered now and more to go. LOL My endorphins kick so high it take the pain away. just dont drink or take anything defore you get it done. afterwards it will fill a little weird cuz it might swell and bit but it just feels tight, someone said like a sunburn but to me no cuz sunburns hurt really bad but everyone is different. Just make sure you take care of it, no swimming or baths, use A&D not neosporin or you could also use tattoo goo but Id say A&D is the best. after a few days use lotion to keep it from drying out but just a little couple times a day and NOTHING with scents and no aloes in it.
