how do you get rid of tennis elbow?

my elbows started hurting when i went to the gym, now i haven’t went in over a year.i can’t rest them to much i have a physical job.has anyone had any success with this problem

    My hubby had tennis elbow too. He uses his arms alot at work, so resting was not really an option. Like the others have said an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen might help. If that doesn’t work, you can go to a Physical Therapist who can give you exercises to help stretch & strengthen the muscles.
    My husband ended up getting cortisone shots into the elbow joint. He said it hurt like hell for afew days, but that was years ago, and it’s never returned, so was definitely worth it.
    For severe cases, surgery can be done.

    maybe you can use heating pads to ease the pain while you’re working out

    I would have to agree with @tess. It’s hard when there’s not an option to rest. If the anti-inflammatory doesn’t work, cortizone might be the only option.
