Sometimes, I’ll bend my arm (at the elbow obviously) and it’ll cut off the circulation. Is there a way I can prevent this? It’ll stop when I straighten out my arm, but sometimes, I need to keep my arm bent. Also, I’ve noticed that if I start walking, it’ll go back to normal.

I have some inflammation in my hand (palm side) and finger tendons that makes making a fist kind of sore. Also, I have some elbow issues, mostly in the tendon areas. I do a lot of housework and typing, which may be the problem. I am resting the arm and taking motrin, any good exercises for these trouble spots? Thanks in advance, good links appreciated…

The anterior scalene muscle starts from the transverse processes of C3-C6, slanting downward and forward, and inserts into the first rib. When it contracts, the head bends to the same side and forward. The causes of anterior scalene muscle syndrome are: 1. Cervical spondylosis — Spinal nerves C3-C8 provide motor innervation to the anterior scalene muscle. Their irritation or compression evokes increased tension in the anterior scalene muscle. 2. Chronic overload and muscular strain — Chronic physical overload of the anterior scalene muscle or its strain also produce the clinical picture of anterior scalene muscle syndrome. Because the anterior scalene muscle participates in inspiration, patients with bronchial asthma frequently have anterior scalene muscle syndrome. 3. Visceral pathology — The heart and lungs are innervated by the same segments of the spinal cord as the anterior scalene muscle. Thus, chronic cardiac and pulmonary disorders evoke reflex zones in the anterior scalene muscle and are

Didn’t wash the tea cups right away and the tea stains appear to have set in. They are very delicate, fragile (and expensive) china. Not sure if it would be appropriate to use abrasive cleaners (or a lot of elbow grease). Any advice? Thanks…

Yesterday I workout really hard lifting weight and stuff. Today both my arms are really sore in the middle of my arm. After the biceps and before my forearms. Pretty much on the opposite side of my elbow. Can I do anything to stretch this par of my arm out make it feel better?

2 days before Easter i was dignosed with over active Thyroid.

I was put on the meds to help this. My blood work came back ok with the dosage.

2 weeks later… I broke out in hives….. had to go to the hospital and they gave me steroids & benedryl. 2 days later the hives came back worse… again hospital and liquid steroids.

4/20 my sister died. 4/18 I had a terrible sore throat, fever and joint ache… my hands, leggs wrists, elbows… every joint swelled in my body. For over 1 month now… my joints are swelled. It starts in my hands, then elbow mostly now. I was tested for lymes disease, 5th disease (my gp says it is 5th) my diabetic doctor said i was exposed to 5th as a child but the blood work did not show that i have it. I am in such pain and my fever for 1 month now ranges 99.5 – 99.8. My doctor has no idea what this is … he just tells me to treat they symptoms with alleve.

Any suggestions? I am at the end of my rope… Thank you!
well with the hives over my entire body and the swelling…(plus being a diabetic) yes, that was ER care…
the joint pain is terrible… i have not done er for that… just my dr.. but no one knows what it is.

About 4 weeks ago i started to notice pain on the side of my calf muscle on both legs. Its almost like a bruise that you cant see.
And the the pain worsens with exercise instead of eases as the muscles warm up. My brother said it might be a shin splint but i have no clue.

Also, my ankle and knee joints have started to ache constantly.
I’ve had tendinitis on my elbow from throwing the football A LOT. So i was thinking that maybe i have a high risk for this and now that i started school sports (lots of running on an uneven football field) the other joints get tendinitis too.

Or is it possible that i have rheumatoid condition?

Also, with the ankle ache, when i start the warm up run, my ankle clicks for a while and its very uncomfortable.

Any possible diagnosis? Thanks!

i have a sweet dog named Sport (he came with his name.. at the pound when we got him 9 years ago.) and like many other old dogs he has gotten sores on his elbows. i have wood floors and he has arthritis so he kinda slips around and i think his elbows hurt a lot,….. ANYWAY, my question is: do you think i could reduce the pain by putting something on it… like tooth numbing stuff or something… origel or something like that? would it work? i don’t want his poor little elbows to be sore anymore. his bones are sore enough as it is he doesn’t need to be having owie elbows :(
what do ya think yay or nay on putting numbing ointment on my old doggies elbows.
okay people. they are not that bad. and he DOES have beds, many actually! he just likes to lay on the floor .. don’t ask why he only goes on the beds (which are actually cushions off of our old couches) at night when he goes to bed…. but other than that he lays on the wood floor.
you guys are annoying me. i am a wonderful pet owner and take my animals to the vet whenever needed… but the elbow thing is normal for dog .. i have seen it a million times and vets do not care about them. and i am not talking open nasty swollen sores…. it is only because his elbows rub on the hard floors when he gets up and down. OKAY?! so his skin is a little raw there nothing sick or even really terrible. and i already manage his arthritis! i did not ask about the arthritis i asked if it is okay to put numbing ointment on his elbows so it doesn’t hurt! SHEESH. turn you ears on people.
i think i confused people with the arthritis… that really has nothing to do with the sores. it is just an other pain factor that my old pup has to deal with. all the sores are, are just raw skin because of rubbing on the floors….

Do cardio exercises make you slimmer and thinner? I’m just wondering because I want to lose weight, and I’m planning on dancing 3 times a week and play tennis 2 times a week? I really need to know if dancing will make you thinner, fast dancing, not the slow ones.

Computer Diagnosis
One day Bill complained to his friend that his elbow really hurt. His friend suggested that he go to a computer at the drug store that can diagnose anything quicker and cheaper than a doctor.
”Simply put in a sample of your urine and the computer will diagnose your problem and tell you what you can do about it. It only costs ." Bill figured he had nothing to lose, so he filled a jar with a urine sample and went to the drug store. Finding the computer, he poured in the sample and deposited the . The computer started making some noise and various lights started flashing. After a brief pause out popped a small slip of paper on which was printed: "You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water. Avoid heavy lifting. It will be better in two weeks."
Later that evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was and how it would change medical science forever, he began to wonder if this machine could be fooled. He mixed together some tap water, a stool sample from his dog and urine samples from his wife and daughter. To top it off, he masturbated into the concoction. He went back to the drug store, located the machine, poured in the sample and deposited the . The computer again made the usual noise and printed out the following message:
"Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener. Your dog has worms. Get him vitamins. Your daughter is using cocaine. Put her in a rehabilitation clinic. Your wife is pregnant with twin girls. They aren’t yours. Get a lawyer. And if you don’t stop jerking off, your tennis elbow will never get better."

I got two tattoos, one on the inside of each elbow. These are my first, and their position makes it kinda hard to keep hidden. I’m worried about how to properly answer my 4yo daughter’s questions when she sees them.

Probably something like:

What are those?
Why don’t they wash off?
Why did I get them?
Why can’t she get some?
etc…

Last, year I played catcher and pitcher on my baseball team and the inside of my elbow began to hurt terribly when i would pitch. I assumed it was just sore from throwing to second base and I finished the season. But, now when baseball started this year my elbow still hurts when I throw more than 15 pitches. I don’t throw curveballs often so I know that’s not the case. Does anyone know he problem or experienced this before?

I put oils and creams on it and it still comes back. I have pumiced it away (ouch – made it sore) but it came back. Is there something else that could be wrong with it? Weird it is not on my left elbow.

For the past month my elbows have been really sore. they usually start to get sore during wrestling practice, or during workouts. Now its about everything. even throwing a football for a certain amount of time causes them pain. its like a piercing pain in my elbow joints. once the pain starts, it continues if i continue what ever im doing, and still continues for an hour after i stop. its gotten so bad that at some points, i cant even bend my elbows up, feels like im carrying 200 pound dumbells. i dont know what is wrong with them. is this normal? or did i tear something in my elbow joints?
yes, both elbows lol.
