Weird feeling in arm after going to chiropractor?
Went to chiropractor for back adjustment and ended up telling him about tennis elbow I have been dealing with. He did a minor adjustment on my arm by placing the palm up and pulling the arm toward him. since that visit I have had pain in my bicep and near or in my shoulder. It didnt hurt initially but seems to be aggravated now by swimming and push up style exercises. What could he have done??? A physical therapist and him both have told me that nothing major could have happened and that this pain should just go away but it is not going away and Im worried. What do you guys think happened and what should I do?
Went to the chiropractor for a tennis elbow adjustment and came out with bicep tendinitis in my shoulder WTF? He put my arm with the palm of my hand facing up and yanked it toward him. The pain didnt come on immediately but it was hurting so much while trying to exercise that I went to a real doctor and she diagnosed me with bicep tendinitis. How did this happen? Is my arm going to be permanently messed up or out of proper alignment? What should I do?
I work as a stocker in a pet food place, lift 40-50 pound bags of food, and have done triceps, biceps, chest and shoulder exercises for the past month, and noticed a pain in my left forearm and outer elbow that throbs, slightly weakens the elbow, and hurts when i flex my bicep. I first noticed it when doing barbell curls, but i think the bag lifting is what created it totally. HOW DO I KNOW IF I TORE SOMETHING, or whether its like tennis elbow, ect? Can i still weight lift if its tennis elbow, or do i have to waste time by letting it heal? PLEASE HELP!
I’ve had tennis elbow for some time now from military training. I’m out of the service now, and have rested my bicep for 8-10 weeks doing physical therapy and all the necessary things, but it’s still just as bad. Please do not recommend medical treatments (i.e. cortisone or resting). My question is if anyone knows of bicep/shoulder workouts that do not put too much strain on my elbows. Curls seem to only worsen them, and shoulder press is out of the question. Any WORKOUT ideas will be greatly appreciated, as not being able to lift weights and only doing cardio has caused me to lose nearly all of my hard earned muscle mass. Thanks in advance.
Correction: I’ve rested my elbows, not just biceps.
The nurse had to reposition the needle. I have had quite a bit of bruising on the lower inside of my elbow, which showed up ~1-2 days later, and significant soreness in my upper arm, particularly when I flex or extend. Blood was drawn from my dominant arm, so I assume some persistent soreness is due to use, but it has been a week and the soreness has not improved. I’m wondering if (when?) I should be worried.
Lately I’ve been getting really sharp pains right between the wrist and forearm on the little finger side of the arm. The pain can hurt when bicep curling and preacher curls but it’s at it’s worst when I release the grip of a weight it’s just an unbearable sharp pain that would last for a couple of seconds unless I release the weight really slowly in which case the
pain is not as bad. It’s not just weight training it also hurts during everyday things that include heavy weight for example if I hold my palms out facing upwards and put and kind of
pressure of them the other side of my arm will feel as if it’s about to snap. Does anyone know what the actualy problem is as I’ve been told different things and I’m not sure what’s to belive. Thx
any1 know the actual problem and how to treat it as I’ve been told it could be tendonitos, tennis elbow,a pinched nerve, weak wrists, and just a strain

I was in throwing motion with the football when a defender behind me got his hand on the ball at the point where I would have released the ball. This caused my elbow to "jam" or get pressed forward a bit, perhaps hyper-extended? Immediately there was some pain in my elbow, but it seemed to go away. Two days later I threw again and my elbow became sore almost immediately. The soreness is a little higher on the elbow and into the lower bicep. It tingles a little when I’m not doing anything, but my range or strength does not seem significantly impaired. Any ideas about diagnosis, and/or more importantly prognosis? I’m supposed to play in three days. Is that smart if I wear a brace? Whats typical recovery based on your opinion of the problem?
My elbow kills me when i lift especially when i exercise bench press. I took time off and did the whole nine. It still hurts a great deal until i stretch my bicep and that only helps for a couple minutes, then i have to stretch again. what can i do?
I hurt myself playing golf two days ago. I have extreme bruising and swelling on the forearm. From the elbow down it is bruised all the way to the wrist on the underneath side. Just a little bruising just below the bicep. Very sore to touch the elbow joint and upper forearm. The bicep is normal and not sore. Any suggestions?
ok so when i started playing a match today i felt fine. Then in the beginning-middle of the second set my massive bicep (lol) started hurting. Then a few games later, the pain crept down to my elbow and stayed like that for the remainder of the match. When we were done and just rallying it felt fine. And i have a tournament on thursday so quick and precise answers are appreciated and smiled upone XD
Since I have gone back to work 2 months ago, my right arm has really been hurting. I am right handed and work in a headlight factory so I use automatic drivers all day long. It has never bothered me much before but since being back, it really hurts.
Not in the same spot all the time, sometimes in the forearm, or bicep area, started out being my shoulder. Also, it hurts the most at nighttime and when I first get up in the morning, not so much when in use.
After about 10 serves or so the area around my elbow begins to ache. The ache is mostly on the muscle in between my bicep and my elbow. Is this from improper serving mechanics? (I have never been coached) If so, what are the correct mechanics to serving without hurting myself?
Even though I haven’t been coached I have done some self research. I use a continental grip on my flat serve and an eastern backhand on my spin serves. Going through my motion, I noticed that I snap my elbow, should I use more shoulder, or just strengthen my elbow like others have suggested?
I plugged in my fan without turning it off, stupid I know, but lack of sleep during dead week will make you do stupid things. Anyways, I was shocked in my right arm and now the muscles in my forearm and bicep are really sore/tight, also my joints (elbow and shoulder) feel like thick pins are stuck in them. Is this something I should see a doctor for or just let it go? I’m just surprised it hurts after about 40 minutes.
Well, i am having pain from tennis practice below my shoulders but above my elbow so its like my bicep/tricep. Is this tennis elbow or just muscle pain? and how could i treat it?
I am a sophomore in high school and have been pitching for several years. Recently, I have been throwing an increasing number of curve balls, and have been playing on the varsity tennis team, which practices every day.
When I pitch (especially on curve balls), serve, or hit a forehand, my arm experiences pain on the outside of the arm in between the elbow and shoulder. I ice it and it feels better, but when I pitch, serve, or hit a forehand the next day, it hurts again. Also, my left arm (I’m a lefty pitcher and tennis) feels much weaker when I try to hold things out in front of me. For example, if i take a full gatorade bottle and extend my right arm out, I have no problem keeping it out there for ever. With my left arm, it shakes when I try to hold the bottle out there, and I can’t hold it straight out for long.
I asked the school trainer and she said it was a bicep injury just from over use, or a muscle strain. Is that what it is or could it be something else? Also, what can I do to make the pain go away, or heal the injury?
I have started working out seriously and have been doing it for about 2-3 weeks, mostly upperbody.
Now, I have noticed, especially now, that after I workout, the parts of body arent often sore EXCEPT for the inside of my elbow like right on the joint. I dont know why this is? Maybe when I do my arm curls I am using this more than my bicep?
Also, maybe totally unrelated, my arms do not extend fully. Like from that same joint, they only can "stretch" so far and never to a full straight line.
i have had tennis elbow symptoms for nearly 6 months now, i went to the docs and had a shot (cortizone) and it went from bad to worse, the shot made my skin go really really thin and almost transparent. the pain has gotten worse and now is around the back of my elbow, in my bicep and down my wrist. the muscle above my elbow has completely gone and the pain is terrible. I have gone to a physio who has got me doing exercises to straighten it. although it hurts i do them, but the pain is even worse now aswell.
i am on a surgeons waiting list but that has beena couple months itself!
i dont know what else to do, im sick of my arm hurting.
what exacally is wrong? and what else can i do?
i got it from years of martial arts.. punching. if it has been 6 months and it hasnt healed, will it ever? im in soo much agony
