A few days after this happened (she poked around alot!), my inside arm from the wrist to the elbow was all sore, like it was bruised but with no bruise showing. It’s now over a week and getting no better. It’s almost like I can feel my sore vein there! Is there anything I need to worry about, I mean could bacteria or anything gotten in there. Mind you, no blood was drawn from that site – She got someone else to do it on the other arm and I feel nothing over there. I’m just not sure if I should have it checked out or not. I know the soreness is definately from the attempt, but don’t know what could be wrong. Thanks for any input.
Mary

I cant stretch out my arms all the way. It hurts in the inner elbow area to stretch it out all the way. It feels the same way in the underarm area near the armpit.
What can I do to get this to go away? Is there a certain strech I can do?

I have a vintage cardigan that has some holes in the elbow area. I think if I added elbow patches, it will look even cooler than it already is. How can I do this without it looking crappy?

I have the above mentioned type of pain only on the LEFT side, starting from the back of the head-shoulder joint-elbow. Pain has never extended beyond the elbow. Started six months ago. There is also increase in pain through the months since the start. I am inactive most during the day only walk inside the house and do not involve in any exercises. There is slight reduction in pain if i do involve in walking or work. I feel that the pain is only in ONE of the above mentioned areas and not all places at a time. I have experimented while sleeping through the months and found that I have less pain while sleeping with my left shoulder down on the mattress and fall asleep. Sleeping on the back or turning to the right is painful and i can’t fall asleep. I never spend more than 1-and-a-half hours at my computer everyday. I am sure that i have not sustained any physical injuries in the area. I am 61, weigh 90 kg (198 lbs), 5ft 8 in (173 cm) tall, right handed, heavy built man. I’m not diabetic and recent ECG results have shown that my heart is in very good condition.
My past medical history includes a successful lamenectomy ( or laminectomy) surgery in the lumbar spine area 5 years ago. I have completely recovered from the same.
I have furnished the best details i know about my problem.
Please help me and give me advice.

I play badminton and my elbow pains, after laying off for two days it’s pain free. But does it cause muscle strain or tendon strain, bone deterioration? Because the pain is back again. What could I use to keep it at bay, the racket is quite light so no problem there.
Without drugs I mean. Like ice pack, heat compress, arm band, anything like that.

I "baby" my arm, so it is very weak compared to my other arm. It flairs up occassionally. I also have tennis elbow due to an injury years ago. The swelling is right in the elbow area (not sure if there is a correlation.) I am only 38, and want to do martial arts training, which entails wearing tight hand wraps and boxing gloves, not to mention a lot of punching, etc. Will this only aggravate the symptoms? I plan to contact my doctor this week before continuing, but just wanted to see if anyone else has lymphedema and boxes. THANKS.

I have a dr’s appt on tuesday, and I’m not using this for medical advice, but the last couple weeks I’ve had problems with both my hands going numb, and it’s hard to “wake them up”. Also, my right arm is KILLING me. The elbow area and upper arm area.

IDK what it is, it could be a pinched nerve, it could be carpal tunnel, it could be tennis elbow. I guess i’ll find out tuesday, but the only way I can describe the pain in my right arm is…sciatica on both sides of my arm, into my pinky & thumb. anyone else have these symptoms?

I’m wondering if i’ll have to see a specialist, i’m just in a ton of pain, so i’m going to stop typing & ice my elbow.

Thanks in advance!

There is a burning feeling where the forearm meets the elbow area closest to my body.

Alright, i’m 14 years old in high school. and i have lifted before with my brother when i was 13 but i barely got any results cause i didnt eat enough and wasn getting enough protein and would skip days, etc. so anyway, during the summer, i went to lift for one day. and i didn’t feel like i was over working myself, but the day after my upper forearm started hurting. like right at your elbow area. if you put your arm out straight, palms down, your forearm muscle will stick out, and thats where it hurt. so i had to keep my arms at a 90 degree angle for like 3 days cause it hurt to put them down. my brother said i hyper extended and thats why it hurt. and it was something called "tennis player’s elbow" or something like that. so i started lifting again 4 days ago, seriouslym like i know all about protein after wokrouts and form and all that. and the same spot hurts again. not nearly as much as it did months ago, but when i extend my arms down, i feel a pull in my upper forearm. what is it?!?

i stretch between exercises, i stretch and warm up before, and cool down afterwards. and i feel fine right after. when i went with my brother when i was 13, i went for like a month and a half and i didnt feel any pain at all. wtf is up?!

It feels like very sore muscles, like you feel after lots of lifting. it’s mainly in the elbow area & hurts more if I open my arm all the way. I don’t remember lifting anything heavy. I just noticed it about 2 hours ago…also, the pain is confined to the elbow area and halfway up my arm, but shoulder doesn’t hurt.
