Effective Tennis Elbow Treatment
I know how to throw a fastball, for seam and two seam, and a change up. What are some other trick pitches I can throw, and not have to worry about hurting my elbow later on. Can you also tell me how to grip them.
I’ve been playing tennis a bit recently and I’m starting to feel pain in my forearm/elbow region. It hurts to do anything with my arm.
How can I treat this?
And is it okay for me to practice backhands, since the pain is in the right arm (I use the right arm for forehands)?
Also, why did I get this? Is it natural? Am I doing my strokes wrong?
Thanks!
I slipped on a slippery floor at work this past weekend and hit my elbow. I went to the hospital and ended up getting 5 stitches. they took x-rays but they said its not broken. However, its 5 days later and extremely swollen still and black and blue. It’s been at a 90 degree angle for the past few days, i’ve tried to move it such as extend and bend it more but i can’t and it is so painful. I also was comparing it to my other elbow and if i feel my hurt elbow, there is a piece that moves. What should i do? Could that piece just be fluid?
I am 14 and i don’t usually pitch but when I start to throw a lot my ligament in my elbow hurts REAL bad, to the point where I cant even hold my arm up anymore. My coach says its because i’m not following through.
1) Does anybody have any additional information on what i’m doing wrong?
2) How do i stretch it/rest it so it stops hurting?
3) Should i see a doctor?
I have a habit of bringing my shooting hand over to my guide hand instead of bring my guide hand over to my shooting hand, so when I shoot, my elbows aren’t straight and I sometimes miss often, does anyone have advice or know of a website that helps on keeping your elbow straight when shooting, cause I’m really not getting used to it.

I’m aking this again, does anyone know a drill or ANYTHING that can help with keeping your shooting elbow straight when shooting. Because I have a tendency to poke my shooting elbow out to the side and I’m told that it’s wrong. If anybody knows help please.
By the way, it’s the second E, in BEEF, which many people have used to become great shooters, thanks.
I want to get a marilyn monroe tattoo on the inside of my arm between my wrist and the crease of my elbow…..it’s going to be mainly black and white, but red lips and a red signature. If you got a similar tattoo, how bad did you find it?
they hurt from the elbow up to the shoulder. what could be the cause?
Has anyone male or female been in a relationship where they had to maintain a certain sexual position that wasn’t comfortable in order for your partner to reach climax? I have this problem with my wife and don’t know what to do.
I have been with her for over 2 years now and sex with her is like a chore or like exercise most of the time (or some unpleasant combination of both). I basically have to maintain a push-up like position on top of her in order for her to climax. I have to do this for 45 minutes to 2 hours. I’m not talking about missionary position; it’s literally like doing push-ups. I haven’t had many sexual partner (I’m in my mid-twenties and have only been with 6 people), but I have always been told that I was a good lover and my penis is definitely larger than average. However it seems like there is nothing I can do that will have her reach climax besides this uncomfortable position. I try other things but she will basically guide me back into that push-up position.
I am a good actor I guess and always pretend like I enjoy it, but last night she caught me not enjoying it and she was upset. She was menstruating (and I don’t like having sex then), I’m getting over tendinitis in the elbow, and I had to stop halfway to take care of our crying infant. When I came back from taking care of our baby, I could not get back in to the act of enjoying it and she busted me faking (I know this is usually the woman’s job). Has anyone been in a similar situation, looking for advice and suggestions from both sexes? I feel like a creep talking about this kind of stuff (guess I am kind of a prude), but any feedback will be appreciated.
I banged my elbow pretty hard about 3 days ago. I hit it on one of those long rectangular door handles and it kind of went right into my elbow. That day my elbow hurt when I bent it, but now it doesn’t and when I move my arm the top of my arm and top of my hand is sore, worse today than it was yesterday. Could I have pinched a nerve?
My arm feels better now anyways. Thanks guys! :p
I started throwing javelin at track practice and have started to feel some pain in my elbow. My sister has experienced the same problem. However, her elbow hyper extends, and mine doesn’t. Is this possibly throwers elbow or tendinitis? How can I prevent this from getting worse?
Well I went to work today & as I was getting up from the couch we have at my work place, I stretched out my arm & a sharp pain occurred in my elbow. I didn’t hear a pop & I can move it, but when I open my arm to reach for something the pain comes back for about two seconds. I don’t think i broke it because the pain is bearable & I can move it. It feels kind of like a pinching but a little harder on the inside. But if anyone know how to make the pain go away or the cause of the pain; please reply. I’m not overweight, but I don’t exercise much.
i want to remove a wart on my elbow it is puffy round and pinkish. i am searching for the lease painful one.
I’ve had this same size lump for three days now. It’s hard to the touch, peanut sized, sore when you push on it slightly, and feels like muscle soreness shooting up all the way from the site to my armpit when I put pressure on my hand. There’s no redness and I haven’t been sick with a fever or anything. What’s the possible diagnosis?
www.FreeGuideToSecrets.com Tennis Elbow First-Aid Treatment By far the best method to cure tennis elbow is by being proactive to what causes the condition. Then we can immediately treat the first signs of injury with the RICE method. RICE is basic first aid for any injury. It has been created to minimize damage to the area and speed the recovery process. Rest from aggravating activity that causes you pain and prevents the swelling from going down. Change the type of activity that you do to a non-weight bearing activity such as swimming or cycling to maintain your fitness levels. Apply ice to ease the pain and initially constrict the blood flow to the area to reduce further injury. Compress the area by putting on a support bandage to reduce injury to the area. Elevate the arm to prevent further injury. To find out more on what tennis elbow treatments available for you, click on the link below: www.FreeGuideToSecrets.com
I was getting off the bus today and it was raining very bad. The steps are plastic and were wet, as I was stepping down, I slipped and fell on my elbow. My elbow immediately started to bleed uncontrollably. My whole right arm looked like a scene from "Saw" by the time I got home. I washed it up, applied some Neosporin, and put a band-aid on it. I really wanted to go to the swimming pool since it first opened. But I can’t, I know delicate things like this take time, but I just need a crude timeframe of when it might heal. Thanks in advance for all your help… By the way, it looks like a chunk of skin was torn off when I looked at it. My friend described it as, "a hole in my elbow…"
I can still use it. I can’t bend it too much before it starts to hurt (I think that’s because of the band-aid). I’ll take it off and see how my arm does. I’m sure it’s not broken, or else I’d be in excruciating pain.
Okay, to put it simply, I accidentally poked my thumb on the side with a pocket knife, and now it is very sore and every once in a while, I get what I can only describe as a "thread of pain" going from the poke, to the tip of my thumb, and then a few inches above my elbow joint on the inner part of my arm. I didn’t even poke it a millimeter and there was barely a drop of blood. Can somebody please tell me what the hell is going on with my arm?
Actually, I had a tetanus shot 3 years ago,so I am okay for that. However, ever since I poked myself, I have had a shortness of breath and constant cough. Don’t really think they have anything relating to eachother though.
Between my wrist and my elbow, my arm will sometimes be very sensitive. It’s not red, there’s no rash, but it’s really bothersome to wear clothing or have anything touching my arm, it’s so sensitive and sore in that one area. It goes away after a day or two, but what is this?
3rd preview of the incoming “Tennis Elbow 2009″ tennis game from www.managames.com . This preview features the new ball physics, as well as the new 3D female players, and some part of the new gameplay. The AI in it is very _BASIC_ and is surely not the final one..! Its goal and purpose is just to send the ball again and again.
The function H described by H(x)=2.75x+71.48 can be used to predict the height, in centimeters of a woman whose humerus (the bone from the elbow to the shoulder) is x centimeters long.
Predict the height of a woman’s whose humerus is 34cm long.
Can someone help me understand how to work this problem? I need help.
For my whole life I’ve kind of had a bigger belly but the rest of my body is skinny. my thighs look skinny but theres fat in between the legs near the torso..last year I didn’t exercise much and there was obviously no improvement…this year I made the tennis team and im running around everyday drinking a lot of water and eating healthier, but I still dont see any improvement in my stomach area or my thighs…however im losing weight, but im not losing fat. I am wondering why nothing has improved my belly or thighs, and I’m sick of it. Tight shirts don’t look good on me from elbow down, kind of like a big muffin top…so I never can wear them. I was wondering why im not losing any weight in those areas, and if theres anything specific i should do to make me get my "dream body" i want to wear a bikini this summer! haha. I’m skinny but my stomach wont seem to go away and I HATE it.
I’m the perfect weight for my age and height, it’s just my stomach wont go away neither will the little fat near the thigh area. my stomach down doesnt seem to tone, and im so much healthier now, help? I can only see progress in my weight, but my weight is fine so im trying to focus more on how to lose the fat…which is not working
www.FreeGuideToSecrets.com Tennis Elbow Symptoms Just because you don’t play tennis, or any racquet sport for that matter, doesn’t mean you can’t develop tennis elbow. In fact, 95% of all cases are people who aren’t tennis players. People between the ages of 35 and 55 are the most commonly affected by tennis elbow. Unfortunately, many people just think that it is just the aches and pains of getting older. This can be a problem. If you ignore the symptoms, they can worsen. If you wait too long, by the time you actually go to a doctor, it can take years to fix. Financially it can take a toll as well, as you find yourself handing over hundreds of dollars to find a cure. So before you wake up and can’t stretch your arm out or open the door on your own, here are some symptoms you should look out for. At first, you may just feel a little tender in the elbow area. From there, it may progress to the forearm, where the muscles start to feel tight. Unfortunately, this is one of those injuries that will get worse without treatment. So if you start to get symptoms similar to this, rather than just ignore them, have them looked at. The worst thing that can happen is it turns out you are fine. im a pitcher for my baseball team and my elbows been hurting even before throwing at my practise on tuesday but still today it hurts and whenevery i move my elbow forward such as bicep curls ( i didint do those but thats the motion) how can i fix this and prevent it?
www.FreeGuideToSecrets.com Tennis Elbow Injury Before we even start to use a tennis elbow treatment it is worth looking at how we might be causing the injury to ourselves. Tennis elbow, also known as lateral epicondylitis, is an injury that occurs through repetitive motions of the wrist and forearm. This is particularly common with tennis players if the player has bad technique when playing a back hand game. The following are a few fundamental steps you can take to prevent injury: a) have a professional tennis coach assess the way you play. b) wear a protective arm brace – this can certainly help by cushioning the elbow, muscles and tendons from the shock of the tennis ball hitting the racquet. c) always warm up and cool down after each game paying particular attention to stretching the wrist and the shoulders. If you happen to become injured then what are the symptoms that you should look out for? a) gradually worsening pain b) an increase in the area of the pain from just the outside of the elbow to the forearm and back of the hand when either grasping or performing a twisting movement. c) a weakness in the wrist when grasping objects or trying to unscrew a jar lid etc. In addition to all the above if you are unfortunate enough to get tennis elbow then there are a variety of treatments available.
