Okay, I was just wondering something,
I’m thinking of limiting my non-Tennis excercise to low impact (but still vigorous) cardio exercises like cycling and nordic track (or whatever they call that one machine), mainly to avoid putting excess stress on my knees and shins, since I have to run around a lot when on the court.
Is this a good plan, these non-running exercises still serve to build and maintain endurance.
Guitarists must use proper guitar & bass exercises to add strength to their finger, hand, wrist, forearm & elbow. Dr. Terry Zachary explains how the finger muscles work when playing guitar and how guitarist must strengthen all fingers muscles in order to have maximum speed, strength, stamina & accuracy, as well as prevent injuries to the fingers, hand, wrist forearm & elbow such as tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, fatigue, cramping and RSI (repetitive stress injury). Dr. Zachary uses sEMG to show why guitarist should use ghs Handmaster Plus to strengthen all hand muscles for maximum support and maximum injury prevention. ghs Handmaster Plus is available at www.ghsstrings.com
i am five foot and a half inch, i am a girl, i am 14,and i dance! I really want to go into tennis! What exercises should i do? for tennis players do you need to work on upper body strength as well as speed and endurance? what would be the best way to train? I plan on taking lessons soon, but i want to work on what I can before I start taking them?
I practice tennis alot and always warm up first, but I’d like to know what kinds of exercises I should do to improve my skill. Not oncourt exercise, but like gym or outside excersices. Only the ones that help me improve things such as my swing, endurance, things used when playing. Hope the questions clear enough.
