I’ve been playing tennis a bit recently and I’m starting to feel pain in my forearm/elbow region. It hurts to do anything with my arm.
How can I treat this?
And is it okay for me to practice backhands, since the pain is in the right arm (I use the right arm for forehands)?
Also, why did I get this? Is it natural? Am I doing my strokes wrong?
Thanks!

Kim Aron Personal Trainer, writer, blogger, networker and coach. am going to a doctor but do you think I might have tennis elbow?
I heard it happens on your forearm-elbow. It happens from turning your wrist outward. I think I may have it on my right arm from using the mouse. (I am on the computer a lot for school, email and of course facebook!(DOnt worry I am healthy, strong, active, smart))
I dont really feel pain, just like kind of tightness or numbness or tingly and it feels a little awkward or discomforting. The feeling comes when I write or am on the computer. Id say I have the feeling 1/2 the time to 2/3 of the time?
DO you think It could be tennis elbow? Or something else? I have tried resting it (no computer) and icing it, but I still feel it. I feel it upper forearm underneath(like if toy traced you palm of your hand to your armpitt. Maybe strained muscle?
Oh a few more things. my right forearm is weaker then the left. and my elbow hurts when I straighten my whole arm. I also often here like a click

Kim Aron Personal Trainer, writer, blogger, networker and coach. I am curious and would like others opinions.
I have been dealing with throbbing pain since a accident when a very early teen. Over 20 years now.
I had yet another accident within the last 3-4 years. Causing another host of painful outcomes.
Anyhoo I have been talking with others who do not understand that I do not take so many pain killers as to be "out of it". These people do not understand. The group of peeps (it is a medication group) seam to think one should not feel any pain what so ever at anytime!
I am curious how many people think it is OK to feel….pain. I mean when it gets real bad I do take something. I am deathly afraid of being (or getting) addicted to pain killers!! I have kids that need me. I see how other people are and do not want to be this way.
At the moment if I went to the doctors for my arms (tennis elbow? I have RA) I would have to have very painful injections with needle.
My motto Pain is just a way to no you are alive…..
What is your opinion?
I thought I would add I do have a seizure disorder which makes some pain killers off limits to me.
RA is rheumatoid arthritis, some mornings I can not walk, move.

Kim Aron Personal Trainer, writer, blogger, networker and coach. I developed tennis elbow through boxing. I would like to return to the activity (I haven’t done it in a week). I don’t feel pain, so would it be a waste to buy elbow braces?

Kim Aron Personal Trainer, writer, blogger, networker and coach. Hi i’ve been having this problem when playing tennis only when i’m serving, and only when i try to serve hard. My elbow joints start to hurt. A lot of people say you’ve got a tennis elbow, but i don’t think it is. My elbow just hurts when i try to serve really hard, if i serve softly i don’t feel pain and i don’t feel it when i’m doing my forehand or backhand, and the pain goes away after a day.
Could anyone tell me what kind of symptoms this is and what i can do to stop it.

Kim Aron Personal Trainer, writer, blogger, networker and coach. My stupid friend did the same arm grab to the same arm over and over and over and over and now my elbow/forearm feel pain when I use it to list weights or punch the punching bag. Why has this pain not gone away yet? Do I need to wait longer or do I have tendonitis or something? I am not going to go to the doctor to spend 0 so I can be told I injured my elbow so please don’t suggest the doctor.
To describe the pain it is not muscle pain, it feels like the bone, or some tendons or something deep in the bottom of my elbow and up the bottom of my forearm a little. When I do pushing exercises like bench press, it doesnt hurt while I do the exercise, but once I set down the weights my whole elbow forearm area on my right arm starts to hurt in a throbbing type of pain…
