i lovee tennis but i keep having second thoughts on games and being afraid to lose. i know im not suppose to be a chicken but tennis gives me exercise& makes me feel good. any tips or advice on having the motivation on tennis-or any sports?

I’m helping out with beginning tennis classes and I work with the little kids, ages 5-8. What are some good drills or games they can play? It would have to be something very fun and entertaining, as they get bored VERY quickly with just hitting the ball :) we’ve played jail with the older kids, ‘goalie’, and a couple of relays. Running exercises would be good, also. Anything to tire them out! :P

He plays baseball and for the last couple of games he has been complaining about his arm hurting him. He is a pitcher and he says it hurts him when he throws. But tonight he hit a home run and still said it hurt REALLY bad. We asked him does it feel better than it did last game at least…he said it hurts worse. Whats going on and how do we treat it.

ok so when i started playing a match today i felt fine. Then in the beginning-middle of the second set my massive bicep (lol) started hurting. Then a few games later, the pain crept down to my elbow and stayed like that for the remainder of the match. When we were done and just rallying it felt fine. And i have a tournament on thursday so quick and precise answers are appreciated and smiled upone XD

ok i take lessons once a week and when spring comes im gonna go to my local court everyday, but my dream is to become a professional tennis player but im 15 and pretty far behind alot of other kids my age sooooooo I was just wondering wat the best way to get better was, as in drills and exercises because i want to be a great tennis player but i need to do more then just hit and play games with my friends

so can anyone help?

i play baseball on my varsity high school team and wooden bat league in fall. i am a junior in high school.for some reason ever since 7 or 8 grade year ive been having soreness in my elbow. in little league i was a great pitcher. i pitched on are all-star team and everything. but since then i have stopped pitching due to the fact that my elbow gets sore after idk one inning or so. but even in p.e. when we use balls as throwing objects my elbow starts to feel really sore and i have to sit out. kinda feels like after you get done pitching when it feels heavy and hurts to lift it. i usually try to tough it out but i dont want to mess it up more than it is. i have broken it once and also sprained it too. but that was like freshmen year and it was sore before that even happend. i talked to the team medical trainer and he said to work on my mechanix and strengthing it but i just cant see what im doing wrong when i throw. sometimes in warmups before games it starts to get sore just from playing catch. so now im basically stuck at first base, which is my favorite position though. i am left handed too. and ive always played infield. i have trouble with throwing the ball very far. but i just dont know what is causing my elbow to hurt so easily and so much. any suggestions?
