Last fall, I played a little too much tennis and developed tendinitis in my right wrist and began to see a slight hint of tennis elbow, but fortunatley stopped and immobilized my arm before anything permanent could set in. Now that spring is coming, I’m going to start playing tennis a lot and I’m wondering what sort of vitamins and/or excersizes and/or anything I can do to keep my arms and joint strong and healthy. I currently take a normal multivitamin, a omega-3 complex and a glucosamine/chondroitin complex. Is there anything else I can be taking to strengthen tendins/muscles/connective tissue/bones? Also, what sort of excersizes, workouts or warm ups can you reccomend for me?

Kim Aron Personal Trainer, writer, blogger, networker and coach. I have been to the doctor several times. I was on ibuprofen 400mg (3 times per day). That has not helped me. I will be going through physical theraphy soon. I just want every type of prevention or help out there. If you have suggestions/recommenditions pls share them with me.

Kim Aron Personal Trainer, writer, blogger, networker and coach. As a result of long term weightlifiting I have developed tendonitis in my elbow joints. The pain got so bad I could no longer perform any upper body exercises. I haven’t performed any in six weeks, and with every attempt (even with lighter weght), I still feel discomfort… In my research I have seen no long term remedy except cortizone shots in the affected joints or doses of anti inflamatory pills; I don’t like either option…Anyone out there with a similar problem ? Have you tried anything that works well to get one back to normal?
P.S.
I a have also been taking Glucosamine/Chondroitin capsules for about 6 weeks, and I feel no measurable relief .

Kim Aron Personal Trainer, writer, blogger, networker and coach. Tennis Elbow..I have burning sensation in my elbows and couple yrs ago it healed a bit?
cause i used a arm band and now it’s back again! surgery is not an option..what is??? i use Aleve to relieve the pain and I cannot do any weights for my upper body unless it heals…does it really take 6 months to a year to heal??? Anyone has this problem?
In the past I used glucosamine- chondritin 1,500 mg a day and it really helped it heal..but it has come back since I started to do upper body weights. I think i will just use my arm brace and not bend my arms and take care of it…
