We are purchasing a Newfoundland, and where we are getting it from the breeder has another Newfie with elbow dysplasia and a grade 2 heart murmur. She’s selling the second dog for only a hundred dollars. I am curious as to how crippling the elbow dysplasia is for the dog, especially a dog the size of a newfoundland. Keep in mind I have a four year old son who will get very attached to the dog (both of them) and will be extremely heartbroken if something bad happens to the dog.
