I started throwing javelin at track practice and have started to feel some pain in my elbow. My sister has experienced the same problem. However, her elbow hyper extends, and mine doesn’t. Is this possibly throwers elbow or tendinitis? How can I prevent this from getting worse?

Every time I go to jab/right cross, I hyper extend my elbow. Is there anything I can do to prevent this, and jab/right cross normally?

I have a question about a hyperextended elbow. My best friend hyper extended his elbow while in a football game tonight, he continued to play until the game was over. He has an important game next friday!

How long will it take!

So yeah, I had tennis elbow (never played tennis in my life, funnily enough) it was from hyper extending + carrying extremely heavy objects in an extremely stupid way…

Anyway I pretty much ignored it, got on with life…Now (a week later) my forearm is extremely HOTand SWOLLEN (mainly the large muscle between elbow & wrist) and keeps going ‘dead’ (wrist too) and looks a little bruised (not external bruising from any kind of trauma) on inside forearm….

Not going back to physio! (just recovered from knee surgery) so looking for some advice or just hearing from anyone who has had anything similar. Thanks

I don’t know what I did. I can’t twist it, turn it, stretch it, or put pressure on it. It hurts like hell. What can I do to make it heal better. I don’t know if I pulled it, strained it, or hyper-extended it. Help me please
