I’ve recently gotten a cast off from a previous fracture of my wrist, and it left my elbow sore and not very flexible. This was about 4 days ago. Because I can’t seem to comprehend the process of "healing" and "not being an idiot", I went out and jammed the same elbow into the ground. I flew off the board, landing first with my left hand and chest, then my right elbow, and finally my legs (from what I could tell).

My elbow isn’t swollen and I can move it to much the same degree that I could before the fall (still really stiff from the cast). It doesn’t look disfigured or anything, but it hurts quite a bit more than it did before when I move it past the comfort zone. I just want to be sure that i haven’t seriously hurt it or anything.

Naturally my parents would freak if they found I fell again instantly after getting back on the board of skates, so help would be GREATLY appreciated by this stupid individual before he has to face the wrath of his parents.

OK. my eczema experience goes like this..
i was a toddler, i had eczema on my elbows. then it went off.
then i got it around my mouth when i was 12, that was due to stress.
then when i was 13, it disappeared and i was fine.
it came back when i was 14. turmoil year. i had eczema on my face, front of my neck, folds of my arms, the back of my legs. the areas where i sweat. at the start of the year, i was playing a lot of tennis, so i had white spots on my face, people told me they were sweat spots. then suddenly they appeared on my right hand. my baby finger web. one tiny patch of it. then it went off after a while. then suddenly it appeared on my index finger web. just one small patch of it. then it went off. then it appeared on the side of my middle finger. went off again. then came back on the other side. now, i have it real bad. on my index finger web, whole middle finger, and a bit on my baby finger web. how does it randomly just come back?
and it’s only on my RIGHT HAND. my left hand is perfect. and it’s not on the back of my hand either. just on the webs.
i stopped all steroid usage because i started a homeopathy treatment called herose. has anyone heard of it?
to me it sounds like my eczema is a mix of child eczema and some other weird kind.
does anyone have symptoms kinda like mine?
one other thing i noticed. stress is a big factor of it. when i was in bali, my skin was perfect. it just disappeared. smooth. no scars.
plus, it’s soo hard not to scratch. i tried emu cream. which only made me itch worse.
and for some reason when i put lotion on the affected areas (excluding face) it makes me itch worse,

I quit playing racquetball about a month ago when pain got pretty bad. (It had been slowly progressing for a few weeks) I continued to lift weights for 2 weeks. My elbow wasn’t getting any better so I stopped that too. At this point It has been 10 days with none of the above activity. During this time and even prior to that I had tried ice a few times a day and daypro (anti-inflammatory). Still no change. I even use my computer mouse with my left hand since that seems to irritate it as well. I open doors, lift things, whatever… with my left now. When will this go away? When should I start strengthening excercises? When should I start stretching. I have seen a few web sites. I am interested in hearing personal experiences. Please help. I miss my workouts/sports!!!!! On a side note. If any of you are considering P90X- the infommercial workout program- DO IT!!! Incredible results but definitely not easy.

Hey. I just noticed that my elbow hurt yesterday but i’m not sure if its tennis elbow… A couple of weeks ago, i went to the doctors and i checked up on my elbow that had a popping noise when i pull my arm back, and pulled it the opposite direction. He said my tendon thingy or something was loose and if it bothered me, i had to get surgery.

Here’s the problem, I’m not sure if its tennis elbow or the tendon thing but it hurts whenever i do easy stuff, like open my refrigerator door. I iced it but i’m not exactly sure where to ice my elbow… so i iced it near my tendon, then on the center of my elbow. can someone help me? …i dont want surgery on my tennis arm during the season…

Additional info… lets see… I’m a 14 asian boy, 5′ 2 and a half, like 92 lbs, i play tennis. I also write with my left hand but i am right handed in almost everything except for eating.

Hi, a few months ago I was running and slipped, landing on my shoulder.. Hurt like hell but could move it just fine. Still hurts if I move it a particular way but nothing other than that.
The past 2 weeks my hand started hurting like crazy when I use it a bit & now shooting up to my elbow.
Are the two related? Should I go to the doctor or think it’ll heal over time?
Thankss :)

okay last night I was at siwm practice and I was swimming backstroke. I did a flip turn and broke into to stroke when my left hand broke out it hit the wall and got stuck but my arm (which already had momentum) kept twisting. somehow in that split second my elbow got twisted pretty bad. It swelled and swelled fast. now 24 something hourss later its still swollen. I swam the remaining hurndred and got out. it didn’t really hurt except when I tried to put presure behind my hand, and then the pain was sharp. it didn’t really hurt until about 1 hour later. its been in a bent possion since. and every time I move it out of it it poppes sometimes it doesn’t hurt and other times it hurts alot. I wore a sling to school today. then after school i went to the chiro thinking he could help. he used this laser thing on it (which he’s used on me a hurndred times, on my knee, shoulder, and my tenis elbows) but this time it hurt. It NEVER hurts, he was shocked and so was I. I love that thing but it hurt! I have a really high pain tolorence so my idea of pain is different. he (my chiro) hinted that if the swelling doesn’t go down in a day or two that it could be broken. do you think I could have? we really don’t have to money at the moment to go to the ER. but I want your honest opion. Do you think I just twisted it badly? or could it be broken?

I had dislocated my left elbow. After one week of removal of cast, I started having hardness on the nails of little and ring fingers of my left hand. Same was observed on the portion of palm below these two fingers. On these two fingers, there was a feeling of fluffiness. I have shown to various doctors. Every one has advised for vitamin medicines but none is sure, if it’s fully recoverable . Has any one faced such kind of problem ? If yes, then what treatment was taken for full cure ? Kindly help me. THANKS.
