I mean, seriously. We only had our 13 month old, and if we would’ve brought my husbands 4 year old, I don’t think I would’ve survived! It was so packed… and hot even though it started our pleasant. I tripped and fell off a step and skinned my knee, foot, leg and elbow and I was holding her at the time, and saved her and now I can barely even walk. Im bone tired and very sore. We used a stroller 50% of the time and had a blast, but it was so hard to do. We had everything we needed (too much actually) Any tips for next time? (other than to watch where i’m going)
His daughter is non custodial and her mother fights us tooth and nail not to let her go anywhere with us. We’re working on changing that. And it’s good for young children to experience new things! And yeah, I know, I’m silly for thinking 1 is hard, but with 5 you gotta learn to adjust– I’m not very good at it lol. And my mom is too ill to go and my husbands family is literally non existant. It is just us alone in our own little world

Alright, so I’m 13 years old (I know my stats says otherwise) and I’m going to turn 14 on the 26 (July). Right now, I am 5’0, but I would like to grow another 5-6 inches. I play tennis, and I go everyday now, to practice more often. If I grow taller it’ll be an advantage for me to win tournaments. My mom is 5’0 and my dad is 5’7. Any exercises that may help me; or anything else?

My mom is sure that because my elbow has been cracking a lot recently I must have bursitis. She won’t explain what it is, if it’s degenerative, and how I can treat it, and I’d like to know because I use my elbow a lot.
I’m 17, and I don’t think I have bursitis, my mom does.

This summer my mom started feeling pain in her right elbow. Later her whole arm would hurt so the doctor said it was probably Tendinitis so she gave her a few exercises to do. Now her joints in her wrist, knees, ankles and toes sometimes hurt. Doctors still don’t know what it could be. Any ideas??

Okay, so my mom has problems with her arm. She feels excruciating pain in her elbow, joint stiffness, sore parts around the ear and in the rib cage, and whenever its too cold or the weather’s not good, she feels worse. Plus, when she’s stressed out, she can’t even move. She can’t sleep, and pills don’t work. What exactly is the problem. none of the CAT scans and x-rays pics show what is wrong with her. Is it a psychological problem or is it just physical? Also, what can we do to fix it?

lately I’ve been having trouble, with dizziness, fainting (or feeling like it) fatigue, and shaking. The Fatigue and Shaking I though was because of swimming, being tired and chilled after swim. the dizziness and faintish feelings I was told was normal to some extent.

well I just took a 5 week break and all this stuff was the same. so I told my mom and when to the doctor. he doagnosed me with Hypoglyemia. I know what it is and what it requires to keep it in check, but its going to take me some time to get used to it and make me feel better.

today at swim practice I feel sleepy and shakey but I didn’t say anything to him or my parents yet.

my question is. What do I need to tell him? I will tell him because i have lots of swim meet and he needs to right it on my physical for school. I have a lot of problems already. and the list keeps growing

blindness (really)
bad back and neck
weak ankels
bad shoulder
tenis elbows
and…

now Hypoglycemia
okay question is WHAT do I need to tell my coach? I was cleared to swim and everything he just told me to take it a little easier for a while. I just don’t know how I should approach it.

I have REALLY big meets comming up and I need to train. I mean Paralympic trails big.

and my doctor said that the faintish stuff was most likily from somthing else I don’t know the name of it. but it has to do with standing up to fast. and your blood not pumping fast enough to your brain. he said it won’t hurt me in the long run. just go a little slower when you make sudden changes in body possion. the only problems in swimming I’ve ever had is going from a belly stroke to backstroke. but that’s it. and I don’t swim IM’s

One morning about 3 weeks ago I woke up and my elbow hurt. I have fibromyalgia and thought nothing of it. I wake up everyday with a new pain.

The pain persisted for about a week and a half and got progressively worse. I went to my doctor and he said it’s tennis elbow.

I don’t play tennis, I don’t use a screwdriver all the time. so how did I get this? Two things come to mind…I type a lot. Could this cause/contribute to it? And the way I sleep. I sleep on my side with my arm under my head – arm kinda twisted. This could possibly pull the tendons – right?

I ask, cause if it’s this, then I need to find a new way to sleep.

Also – what else do you recommend for getting over it? It’s gotten ridiculous. I threw my shoe and was in horrible pain. I can’t bend it, straighten it, lean on it, or use it to lift anything.

HELP!!!
To The Mom: That’s just it. I don’t do ANYTHING repetitive other than type. I don’t work out, don’t work, If you saw the house, you’d know it isn’t from cleaning too much (LOL). All I can think of is the way I sleep. The arm is twisted which could pull the muscles. (and i get why it’d be called washerwoman – the old washboard – repetitive motion)

I’ve been racking my brain for 3 weeks now and I don’t do anything that would cause this other than possibly typing or sleeping.

Anyway…i’ll try the ice and anti-inflamatories. How long should I wait before going back if no improvement?

I’ve stopped playing tennis for about 4 months and my tennis elbow still won’t go away. My mom says it’s because i’m typing on the keyboard too much, could that be? I’ve been applying icepack on my injury for about 20 min each day and stretching the area. Neither seems to be helping, so what should i do?

It started doing this when I was 13, the summer I started playing tennis.

I’m 17 now =P No one would ever take me to the doctor for it.

It hurts from time to time, but its not extremely painful or unbearable.

Now I really don’t feel it popping out like it used to, but I can still move whatever was popping out there on the side slightly.

Is this treatable? Or is the fact that its not popping out as often or as bad as it used to mean it’s healing itself?

I wore an arm brace for quite awhile, but it squished my arm more then helped my elbow =P
Its hard to tell with my jacket on, but I took it off and it is still popping out of the joint, whatever this thing is X_X Nothing looks out of place or odd on my elbow, but something is popping out on the side.
Oh yeah, this is my right elbow by the way.
If I doesn’t keep me from missing school like my evil sinus infections my mom doesn’t get off her butt to do much =P And we have no money, she has less money then I do and I have hardly any money D=

I don’t know why my grandma wouldn’t take me, she called a chiropractor but they wouldn’t even see me, he told me to wear the stupid elbow brace =P

Its not hindering my life at all in any way, its just annoying that it gets a little sore very easily.

i play a national level player and in 16s division. i got into an argument with my mom. she’s really supersticious. first she said i get too hot tempered. i said no then she said gods not going to let me win cause i disrespect my parents. then she said she’s gonna put a spell so i will never heal my injury(i have tennis elbow and have been losing a lot lately) then she said just giveup tennis and if your lucky, someone will just pick me up and let me become a pro or college player. this is really getting to my head, how should i ignore this? i always have problems ignoring people, always pick up their bad habbits
she says lick is the main thing to tennis
i have none
i mean luck instead lick

All my joints crack, and I know there’s nothing wrong with that.. But, After I carry something heavy; my elbow kind of pops/like dislocates a little bit. It hurts, and it happens often. If I’m carrying my books or anything. A lot of the time it’s stiff, and it kind of feels like what I think arthritis might feel like.

I told my mom, since it’s been happening for a while, and she’s like it’s just tennis elbow. But I barely have any symptoms of that. It’s not bruised or swollen or anything.. I get sharp pains in it sometimes.. even if I’m doing nothing.

It was especially sore during softball.. which I’m sure may have been the cause..

But what can this be?

Sorry this is so long…
Again.. it’s not swollen, so I’m not going to take an anti-inflammatory

I am only 13, and have never had any phobia of needles… I went in because of my tennis elbow problem, and my tennis academy recommended this acupuncturist… We were all skeptical but decided to give it a try… I went in, and he put in about 2 needles and I said I’m fine… After about four needles I felt the elctricity and then I said im really dizzy… All of a sudden it blacked out… I woke up with my mom screaming and I thought it was a dream… The acupuncturist said I had a "Chi Reaction" or something and my face turned white and my eyes rolled into the back of my head… I collapsed and fell on the floor… After ten seconds I woke up… What an experience!!!! Never going back- always thought acupuncture was a bunch of gibberish–
