I’m a pretty regular disc golfer for almost 2 years, about 2-3 times per week. I’ve had some on again off again pain in my forearm below my elbow. Today I hurt it big time playing. I have free range of motion in my arm without pain, the pain is weight bearing related. I cannot push down with my hand without searing, dull pain all around the thickest part of my forearm.

The closest thing to compare the pain to is if your arm was wrenched the wrong way in an arm bar hold. There is no swelling nor bruising, I can move my fingers and hand freely, no numbness, just godawful pain when I push down or rest it with only my hand supporting the arm. It seems to be more along the ulna bone rather then the radius. Does that sound like tendonitis, bone bruise, tendon/ligament pull? It didn’t sound like tennis elbow but I’m not ruling anything out.

What does this sound like and what should I do about it? I’ve already started the R.I.C.E regiment but other ideas would be nice, especially preventative/rehab related. Thanks.

One or both my hands go numb when I’m playing video games, whether its a controller or handheld system. My right hand also goes numb the same way when using the mouse while playing games on my PC. I’m right handed. After I stop the numbness resides and i find the inner part of my elbows sore. It does eventually go away, within minutes.

am going to a doctor but do you think I might have tennis elbow?

I heard it happens on your forearm-elbow. It happens from turning your wrist outward. I think I may have it on my right arm from using the mouse. (I am on the computer a lot for school, email and of course facebook!(DOnt worry I am healthy, strong, active, smart))

I dont really feel pain, just like kind of tightness or numbness or tingly and it feels a little awkward or discomforting. The feeling comes when I write or am on the computer. Id say I have the feeling 1/2 the time to 2/3 of the time?

DO you think It could be tennis elbow? Or something else? I have tried resting it (no computer) and icing it, but I still feel it. I feel it upper forearm underneath(like if toy traced you palm of your hand to your armpitt. Maybe strained muscle?
Oh a few more things. my right forearm is weaker then the left. and my elbow hurts when I straighten my whole arm. I also often here like a click

My elbow/ right has severe chips in in which are visible and you can feel by touch. What kind of long term problems could this cause?
I know there are wrist supports (bands), tennis elbow braces, wrist immobilizer braces. But i dont know what is the best thing to use. I talked to my doctor, he suggested to avoid surgery because it will just keep chipping. I am 20 Years old. It happend a year ago and I am starting to get more frequent pain in my wrist, tenonts and forearm when doing simple task like typing and drivingfishing :(
Sometimes i get a tingling/ numbness in my hand and forarm.
On a good day I can perform tasks with ease as the chips have alligned; the elbow feels semi normal (smooth). But other days the chips move around and I cause more pain.
Any help or info is much appreciated. I am in college and working at a coop now. I havent had time to see a specialist about this but plan to. Please Help.
Any info on the proper use of any aiding braces would be nice aswellthanks

My symptoms are 3/16/2007

I have shooting pain down both forearms down my Ulnar nerve.
I have stabbing /cramping pains down both of my fore arms.
The pain was execration, but now has defused and dissipated.
However it is still very painful.
Also I have pain in my elbows both on the interior and exterior side.
The tennis elbow is more intense when I pick up, twist, or turn an object.
Oddly I have intense pain down my arms when I sneeze or I have a shiver.
I have pain in my medial carpals in my wrist.
The pain migrates from four to five places in my wrists.
I have painful sensation changes in the 4th and 5th fingers.
I wake up many nights with pain in my hands and in a claw formation.
I have tingling burning sensations, weakness in my hands and arms.
I have trouble with my grip, pinching, grasp, twisting, of my hands
and arms. I am losing mobility in my arms that makes me drop objects more often. I am experiencing partial paralysis and loss of movement in my hands and wrists. I am experiencing a numbness and tingling on the top surface of my thumbs. I still have extreme pain at the base of both thumbs. Which is a sign of atrophy of the muscular bulge in an advanced or chronic stage, I am been told. I am experiencing that I cannot move my hands and arms with the same speed as just a few months ago and is continually getting worse. Also the pain is increasing with less exertion. I am experiencing pain from a nerve that rolls over my shoulders then to the underside of my arm between my biceps and triceps. Then runs down the length of my arm about two inches apart.
I am also catching myself from dizzy spills or vertigo. I thought it was from my pain medication so I didn’t put it together. Since its been over a year without pain medication and I still have dizzy spills. Is this a symptom too?
