I woke up a few days ago and my elbow was killing me. I waited a day thinking I must have done something when I was sleeping to hurt it. But its been like 3 days and I cant use my left arm without feeling a really strong pain in the elbow. I am thinking I have not done any sports in a few weeks and I did not hit my elbow into anything and its not the way I sleep so why is my elbow hurting me? Thanks in advance.
well then if I have not done any sports have not hit it in any way and did not injure it during the night then what would cause the pain?

I quit playing racquetball about a month ago when pain got pretty bad. (It had been slowly progressing for a few weeks) I continued to lift weights for 2 weeks. My elbow wasn’t getting any better so I stopped that too. At this point It has been 10 days with none of the above activity. During this time and even prior to that I had tried ice a few times a day and daypro (anti-inflammatory). Still no change. I even use my computer mouse with my left hand since that seems to irritate it as well. I open doors, lift things, whatever… with my left now. When will this go away? When should I start strengthening excercises? When should I start stretching. I have seen a few web sites. I am interested in hearing personal experiences. Please help. I miss my workouts/sports!!!!! On a side note. If any of you are considering P90X- the infommercial workout program- DO IT!!! Incredible results but definitely not easy.

My knees are terrible, moreso my right one. Whenever I bend them, they crack. If I make a bicycle motion with my leg, my right knee cracks every time and it feels terrible. I can’t keep it bent for long periods of time (thats what hurts the most), especially when I’m sitting "pretzel style". I constantly feel like I have to straighten my leg when I’m sitting down, and I really never noticed I do it quite often until recently.

I’m only 17 years old! Freshman year I had a stability brace on my knee for a while, but I don’t remember the doctor every saying what exactly was wrong. That or I just don’t remember.

I really haven’t been paying much attention to this because I have tennis elbow and radial tunnel syndrom in my right elbow and I’ve been going to therapy for that and may have to have surgery soon! I don’t even play sports =/ but I guess the elbow can be from being a musician. But not the knee!!

Anyone know what might be wrong? It hurts mostly on the outside. =/
