My arm is swollen. My right arm, starting at about my elbow going up halfway into my triceps (upper arm).

I recently started working out really hard. I had a sore triceps 2 days ago. The pain has gone away and I have pretty good mobility with that arm again. Today I noticed my arm starting at about my elbow going up halfway into my triceps (upper arm) was swollen. There was no pain and I wouldn’t have known it was there if I didn’t touch it by accident.

I went to the gym again today and did workouts that didn’t involve stretching or flexing my triceps or upper arm. It has since then become more swollen and is now slightly painful due to the swelling.

The muscle itself doesn’t hurt at all. Neither does the joint or bone anywhere on that arm. The skin is completely normal besides being stretched tight a little bit. That arm is the same temperature to touch as the other.

I’ve researched (Googled) everything I can think and haven’t come up with anything.

If anyone has heard or this or has any idea what it can be please let me know.

Don’t answer with just “Go to the doctor”.

Is this tennis elbow, or another common sports injury I can fix without having to a)rest, b)not throw as hard or c)endure the pain. Ice helps but would a brace or tape job help during the actual game? I have a list of stretches I do but the pain gets worse game by game, I barely recover by the next game day.

Well, i am having pain from tennis practice below my shoulders but above my elbow so its like my bicep/tricep. Is this tennis elbow or just muscle pain? and how could i treat it?

I work as a stocker in a pet food place, lift 40-50 pound bags of food, and have done triceps, biceps, chest and shoulder exercises for the past month, and noticed a pain in my left forearm and outer elbow that throbs, slightly weakens the elbow, and hurts when i flex my bicep. I first noticed it when doing barbell curls, but i think the bag lifting is what created it totally. HOW DO I KNOW IF I TORE SOMETHING, or whether its like tennis elbow, ect? Can i still weight lift if its tennis elbow, or do i have to waste time by letting it heal? PLEASE HELP!
i dont think its supinator. its more on the outside of the elbow, slightly above the elbow even, but NOT my tricep
